The UK premiere of Thom Andersen’s new film, The Thoughts That Once We Had
is a nuanced exploration of the history of cinema, inspired by the work
of Gilles Deleuze. Beautifully edited, it highlights Andersen’s
longstanding passion for cinema, playfully moving across decades and
genres.
The film will be followed by a discussion with Thom Andersen and Michael Witt, author of Jean-Luc Godard: Cinema Historian.
